Mr Eric Siu is a Hong Kong based Interaction Designer who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and a Master's Degree in Design. He possesses solid hands-on work experience in Visual Communication, Digital Media Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Filmmaking, and Design Education.

After graduating from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he founded his own experimental design studio that integrated technology, art and design in projects commissioned by experts from around the globe and in various fields such as architects, artists, gallery owners, dojo monks and filmmakers.

Mr Siu has participated in various exhibition projects including the 11th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition and Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture.  He was appointed as the Theme Designer for the 12th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition.  He was also involved in the R&D for the Shanghai World Expo - Hong Kong's Urban Best Practice Area Pavilion.

Mr Siu has been involved in various film making projects including a documentary film nominated and screened at the Golden Horse Awards; his own feature-length documentary was also funded by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

Prior to joining this institution, he worked as a User Experience Consultant serving client projects including CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, Li & Fung Limited and the HKU Centennial Campus.

Mr Siu is also a MAKER who likes delivering new experiences by exploring new technology and inventing digital gadgets or applications as a hobby in leisure time.
