Dr Kwok obtained his BBA (Hons), majoring in Human Resources Management and MPhil in Organizational Behavior from the City University of Hong Kong (CityU). He received his PhD from CityU through researches on leadership and self-regulatory focus, and creativity.

While he was an MPhil student, he taught undergraduate courses in management, human resources management and organisational behaviour. He also was a lab assistant for the research methods class. He also has given teaching to part-time undergraduate students on management.

He has attended several academic conferences, including the Society of Organizational and Industrial Psychology Conference and Academy of Management Conference. His research interests are leadership, self-regulatory focus, and innovation and creativity.

At this institution, he mainly conducts teaching in several areas, such as strategic management and marketing.
