Dr Xu holds BBA in Finance from Fudan University, and PhD in Finance from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Before joining this institution, she taught at the University of Macau and PolyU. Her research interests include the equity valuation and corporate finance. Her work has been published in Pacific-Basin Finance Journal and Review of Accounting Studies.
