Mr Danny Chan obtained his bachelor’s degree in Humanities at Hong Kong Baptist University. Then he went on to complete at The Chinese University of Hong Kong a thesis on American poetry, for which he was bestowed an MPhil. He was awarded the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship in 2000.

Prior to joining the HKCC family, Mr Chan served various teaching positions for English & literature at the College of International Education and the Department of Education Studies of Hong Kong Baptist University, at the Department of English and Communication of City University of Hong Kong, and at The Chinese University of Hong Kong-Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Community College.
