Mr Zeduan Wu obtained his bachelor’s degree in Japanese from the School of Foreign Languages and Literature, Beijing Normal University, and his Master of Philosophy degree in Japanese Studies from the Department of Japanese Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research project focused on cross-cultural communication between Japanese and Chinese individuals and Japanese sociolinguistics.

Before joining this institution, Mr Wu proactively engaged in communicative activities including Japanese consultation and Japanese translation, providing localised business support for Japanese clientele in a multinational corporation. He also served in a teaching position at the Division of Languages and General Studies, Hong Kong College of Technology, with a primary focus on practical and business Japanese.

Currently, Mr Wu is a lecturer in the Japanese language; he is committed to introducing Japanese culture and society through the teaching of the Japanese language.
