Ms Eva Peng obtained her Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in China Studies (History) from Hong Kong Baptist University. After that, she received her Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching Methodology from Beijing Language and Culture University. Since 2015, she has been pursuing her doctoral degree in Chinese Language and Linguistics at Beijing Language and Culture University. Ms Peng has obtained Level One Grade B in the Putonghua Proficiency Test (Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi) organised by the State Language Commission of China.
Before joining HKCC as a full-time lecturer, Ms Peng worked as a part-time lecturer at the Language Centre of Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan Institute of Further Education and HKCC. She also taught Chinese, Putonghua and creative writing as a full-time assistant lecturer at Lingnan Institute of Further Education for four years, responsible for course coordination and development.
Ms Peng has published several popular novels in Taiwan, covering a variety of topics such as Chinese history and adapted Chinese classical novels. She is interested in reading, writing and baking.
