Since graduating from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in English Language Education, Ms Lydia Lee started her career in St. Stephen's Girls Primary School as a Graduate Mistress. In her pursuit of self-enhancement in English Language Teaching, Ms Lee went to Britain and obtained her Master of Arts in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the Institute of Education, University of London. Since then, Ms Lee had a calling to widen her language teaching repertoire and devoted herself to language proficiency enhancement for English learners at the post-secondary and tertiary level.

When she was back to Hong Kong, Ms Lee had worked as an English teaching professional in the Language Centre at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and The Community College at Lingnan University. Her enthusiasm in facilitating English learners at different proficiency levels for language improvement was well received by students.

Currently, Ms Lee is a lecturer from the Division of Language and Communication at HKCC.

On a personal note, Ms Lee is a lover of music. Apart from being a handbell choir member and trumpeter, she has also been an organist, pianist and alto for more than 20 years under the grace of God.
