Ms Natalie Chan obtained her bachelor's degree in Professional Communication from The University of New England, master's degree in Language Studies and master’s degree in Counselling from Hong Kong Baptist University.

Ms Chan is experienced in teaching at the tertiary level. Prior to joining HKCC, she taught Associate Degree and Higher Diploma students English and Communication modules in a community college and The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education.

With enthusiasm in teaching, Ms Chan endeavors to motivate students to learn English with initiatives and interests. Her academic interests include speech act – an act that is performed by making an utterance, and pragmatics – the study of how people use language.
