Dr Wing Chan received her Doctor of Philosophy in Applied English Linguistics from the Department of English, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. With a strong interest in language teaching and learning, her research project focused on learner autonomy and its relationship with the learning environment.

At HKCC, Dr Chan is responsible for the teaching and the design of language courses like English for Academic Studies and English for Workplace Communication. She is also active in organising language learning activities to help students improve their English.
