Dr Daisy Wang obtained her BEng (Hons) and PhD in Civil Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research interests include concrete mechanics and constitutive modelling, as well as the structural behaviour of reinforced concrete elements under various loading conditions. 

Prior to joining PolyU CPCE, Dr Wang taught civil engineering and Building Information Modelling (BIM)-related subjects at the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi).

At PolyU CPCE, Dr Wang is involved in the development and delivery of building and construction-related programmes and courses at various levels. In addition, she contributes to programme promotion, partnership development, and student recruitment initiatives with universities, institutions and industry partners in the Chinese mainland, facilitating academic exchange and talent development in related disciplines.
