Dr K K Chow acquired his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy specialising in fluid dynamics from The University of Hong Kong.

Dr Chow accumulated extensive teaching experience in tertiary education before joining HKCC. His research interests lie in the areas of fluid dynamics, acoustics, and environmental science.
