Output/ Activities/ Achievements

Dr Yu received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He later obtained his Master of Science and Master of Statistics degrees from PolyU and HKU respectively, and pursued his Doctor of Education degree at Durham University, UK.

Before joining this institution as a lecturer of Applied Sciences in 2014, Dr Yu had been involved in mathematics, statistics and computer education at both secondary and tertiary levels for many years. His research interests include self-directed learning, assessment for learning and e-Learning in mathematics. He is also a sports lover who enjoys playing basketball, football and volleyball.
