Dr Peng Lin received both her Bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees in Psychology from Zhejiang University. During her doctoral studies, she spent a year as a visiting scholar at Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium, where she conducted cross-cultural research among Belgian and Chinese groups. To further her academic pursuits, she joined Sun Yat-sen University as a post-doctoral researcher and research associate after graduation, where she continued her research while also exploring new areas of interest.

Dr Peng’s research interests primarily lie in social psychology, including intergroup cognition (e.g. stereotypes/meta-stereotypes), intergroup relations (e.g. conflict), game theory, social transformations, and cross-cultural studies. She has gained teaching experience both during her Ph.D. studies and at Sun Yat-sen University, with a focus on social psychology.
