Ms Aggie Chei Wing-yee received her master’s degree in Economics from The University of Hong Kong in 2000 and, prior to that, her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1999.
Ms Chei has extensive experience in teaching and doing research. She worked as a research assistant in Hong Kong Baptist University for a number of years. Her research interests lie in labour economics, immigration, earnings inequalities, and business ethics. She has taught at different tertiary education institutions in Hong Kong, on both a full-time and a part-time basis. In 2002, Ms Chei was an instructor in The Hong Kong Institute of Education.
Before joining HKCC, she worked at The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education as a teaching associate and a part-time lecturer, responsible for teaching subjects in business economics, accounting, and information technology applications in accounting.
At HKCC, Ms Chei teaches mainly Introduction to Microeconomics. A devoted teacher who always offers her helping hand to students, Ms Chei sees educating the young and energetic as meaningful, challenging, and interesting. In her leisure, she engages actively in church activities on nurturing the young.
