Ms Cindy Leung obtained her Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University in Canada. She also obtained a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Canada. She attained the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers (English Language) from Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. With a strong interest in Science and Language, she later pursued her Master of Arts in Linguistics at the City University of Hong Kong. Her interests lie in semantics and English in healthcare communication.

Prior to joining this institution, Ms Leung worked in the health care sector in Canada. She then taught English courses for Pre-associate Degree, Higher Diploma, and Associate Degree programmes in various institutions in Hong Kong. In this institution, she has taught Introduction to Communication, English for Academic Studies and Academic English.
