Dr Edmund Wut is a senior lecturer of the Division of Business and Hospitality Management, where he teaches courses in crisis management and marketing research.
He obtained his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong and PhD from University of South Australia. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in research methods, operations management, engineering management, and supervised undergraduate engineering projects with tertiary education institutions in Hong Kong. In addition to his teaching experience, he has gained professional experience in engineering management and marketing with multinational corporations.
His interdisciplinary research interests cover crisis management, corporate social responsibility and research methods. He has published papers in international journals such as Tourism Management, International Journal of Consumer Studies and Young Consumers. He has also presented his papers in international academic conferences.
Dr Wut is currently a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and Chartered Marketer with The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
